EYE Film Museum

Designed by DMAA, A Public Institution Housing The Biggest Film Library in The Netherlands

July, 2017

The absolutely incredible EYE Film Museum in Amsterdam is probably one of the most unique museums in the world. Not only is the architecture of the building extremely individual and striking.

Designed by DMAA/ Delugan Meissl Associated Architects from Austria), the film museum’s exhibitions and events are compiled through extremely well curated and well-researched diverse subject matter. EYE houses four cinemas, a 1200m2 exposition room, a film lab and the biggest film library of The Netherlands.

Recently exhibiting the work of cinematographer Robby Müller in the exhibition “Master Of Light” on the second floor (where they have a large space to screen his interviews and numerous works with Steve McQueen, Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders and Larz Von Trier).
