Champ Magazine Issue 10 Launch

Held at the Zaha Hadid Gallery in London

December, 2015

Held at the Zaha Hadid Design Gallery in London’s Clerkenwell, the Champ Magazine Issue 10 launch celebrated the The Champion Womxn Issue.

A panel discussion with British designer Phoebe English, Ala Champ Architecture Editor Melodie Leung and Champ Editor-in-Chief Monique Kawecki started off the evening, discussing collaboration (both Phoebe and Melodie worked with Zaha) and the magazine’s latest issue made entirely by womxn, focusing and highlighting the power of womxn of any identity, background or belief.

For issue 10, Champ collaborated with Phoebe English on a limited edition handcrafted ‘Editor’s Tote’ made in the designer’s atelier with her signature fabrics and weaving. The limited edition bags were available through Champ Magazine or Phoebe English.

Cocktails were made by the Rita’s team, creating delicious orange Baileys martinis, whilst cold-pressed juices by Imbibery were accompanied by raw The Hardihood treats.

There was live jazz by Bradley Miller [CKTRL], and music by DJ Norsicaa throughout the evening.
