The monumental London Aquatics Centre designed by architect Zaha Hadid is located in Stratford in London’s North, in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Initially designed to accommodate the 2012 London Olympics, the Centre remains as an indoor facility with two 50-metre swimming pools and a 25-metre diving pool. Renowned for its voluptuous white facade, the form was inspired by the fluid geometry of water in motion with “an undulating roof that sweeps up from the ground as a wave.”
